A comprehensive 12 month warranty is provided with every Genome Analyzer IIx instrument. The standard warranty covers all hardware and software and includes unlimited emergency on-site service calls during normal business hours; 3-day average response time; an on-site preventative maintenance service visit; parts, labor, and consumables for any system repairs or maintenance, and unlimited phone support and assistance.
After your first year, Illumina offers four options to extend warranty coverage for each part of the Genome Analyzer IIx system: The Cluster Station, The Genome Analyzer, and the Paired-End Module.
Premium, Plus, and Basic Warranties all provide full system coverage, or there is the option of a Parts Only warranty.
- Premium and Plus Warranties both provide full coverage on parts and labor, a yearly preventative maintenance visit, applications training, demonstrations, and non-critical and critical updates
- Premium coverage provides an additional maintenance visit, a quicker on-site response time, in-house applications training, and unlimited web-ex access
- The Basic Warranty provides half-price on parts, either a preventative maintenance visit or an on-site visit every year, demonstrations, critical upgrades, and software installations
- The Parts Only Warranty provides full parts coverage (without labor) and an average 5-day on-site response time
