Using advanced automation and precise robotic control, LIMS enforces all aspects of the microarray processing. By guiding time-consuming and error-prone sample/data handling and tracking from end to end, this integrated solution ensures reliable, high-quality, data output and enables multiple projects to be managed in parallel. First-run samples can be analyzed while the remainder are processed, so there’s no waiting for data.

Project Managers can easily enter experimental and control samples into the system using familiar sample sheet definitions. The assigned samples are automatically queued for processing in batches. This batching system automatically communicates to lab personnel that samples are ready for processing without additional intervention from the Project Manager.

LIMS includes software, hardware, installation, on-site training, and continuous support from Illumina’s Customer Solutions team. LIMS can grow as needed, including into future products and systems.

• Illumina LIMS Base Package
  This Package has server software and hardware to support genotyping using the Infinium Whole-Genome Genotyping or GoldenGate Genotyping application with an iScan GenomeStation. It includes the LIMS database system with LIMS/database server computers, and server rack. It requires Illumina-specific Tecan with RoMa robotic arm and PoslD reagent barcode scanning.

• Illumina LIMS GoldenGate Module
  This Module has the software, accessories and hardware to support GoldenGate Genotyping with an iScan GenomeStation. It includes carriers and labware for Tecan robots, LIMS-enabled robotics software and protocols, and LIMS-enabled Thermocycler PC with control software.

• Illumina LIMS Upgrade
  Software to support the upgrade from Infinium LIMS to the Illumina LIMS with Infinium license module. Installation and one-year warranty included.
