Contents: Each Infinium HD iSelect Custom BeadChip allows you to choose between 3,000 and 1,000,000 attempted bead types. The array is offered on either a 24-, 12- or 4-sample BeadChip. Each package contains sufficient BeadChips and reagents to process the number of samples ordered (see Ordering Specifications)

Infinium iSelect HD Custom Genotyping offers the ability to interrogate virtually any SNP for any species. With the high multiplexing of the Infinium HD Assay and the flexibility of Illumina's multi-sample array formats, Infinium iSelect HD Custom BeadChips open up new opportunities for both human and agricultural studies.

Design a panel for custom genotyping that includes from 3,072 to 1,000,000 attempted bead types. The BeadChips can be deployed on either the 24-sample format (3,072 to 90,000 attempted bead types), or the 12-sample format (90,001 to 250,000 attempted bead types), or the 4-sample format (250,001 to 1,000,000 attempted bead types). Create assays tailored directly to specific needs for targeted region genotyping or fine-mapping with Custom Infinium DNA Analysis products.

Powered by the Infinium HD Assay, Infinium iSelect HD Custom Genotyping BeadChips provide the industry's highest call rates, allowing for flexible content customization, and enabling the detection and measurement of copy number variation (CNV).

  • To create your custom genotyping BeadChip, select a list of loci and submit it to Illumina's online Assay Design Tool (ADT). An ADT Score file output provides predicted success information, validation status, and minor allele frequencies from published studies.

  • Use the ADT Score file output to refine an initial assay panel to include desired assays that are predicted to have a high likelihood of success. This information is used to create a final Score file used to place an order. The ADT provides a simple and powerful method for evaluating individual loci and creating the most successful custom genotyping BeadChips.

Ordering Specifications
There is a 1,152 minimum sample requirement for initial iSelect BeadChip orders.
Reorders require at least 288 samples. All orders must be in increments of 48 samples
once the minimum is reached. Reorders must be placed within 12 months of the original order.
