A comprehensive 12-month warranty is provided with every iScan System purchase. The warranty includes preventative maintenance service, unlimited replacement parts, emergency service calls, and regular applications training.

After the first year, Illumina offers four options to extend warranty coverage for 12 months at a time. You can choose to cover the cost of parts only, pay for additional scheduled preventative maintenance visits, or purchase the ultimate security with a comprehensive package that guarantees minimal down time and priority response, as well as unlimited parts and emergency service.

Premium, Plus, and Basic Warranties all provide full system coverage.

  • Premium and Plus Warranties both provide full coverage on parts, including laser replacement, a yearly preventative maintenance visit (except LIMS), unlimited on-site emergency service calls and telephone support, and hardware and software upgrades for the covered system
  • Premium coverage provides an additional maintenance visit (except LIMS), a quicker on-site response time (48-hours for Premium, 72-hours for Plus), and unlimited on-site Priority Applications Support visits for ongoing training/data analysis support (Plus includes up to five such visits)
  • The Basic Warranty provides half-price on parts, including laser replacement, either a preventative maintenance visit or an on-site emergency visit every year (except LIMS), demonstrations, critical upgrades, software installations, and unlimited telephone support
  • The Parts Only Warranty provides full costs of replacement parts (without labor), with, at an additional cost, onsite service (average 5-day response time)
