The ChIP-Seq protocol adds adapter sequences onto the ends of DNA fragments. These adapter sequences correspond to the two surface-bound oligos on the flow cells used in cluster generation.
Libraries prepared with the ChIP-Seq DNA Sample Preparation Kit can be sequenced on the HiSeq 2000, HiSeq 1000, HiScanSQ, or Genome Analyzer.
