Forensic DNA experts throughout North America demonstrated why they love next-generation sequencing in Illumina’s first ‘NGS is Awesome LEGO build contest’. Entrants illustrated how awesome NGS is with a MiSeq FGx™ Forensic Genomics Instrument LEGO® Kit. Three lucky winners will receive a trip to the International Symposium on Human Identification held in Dallas Texas on October 12-15. Prize includes flight, hotel and ISHI registration.
Ten finalists were ranked by the Illumina Forensic Genomics Team, and three lucky winners were selected based on popular vote. Final voting took place August 7–14, 2015.
