Any non-cumulative patches will be listed in future PDF releases, but you do not need to reinstall them if they are already installed. • Windows automatic operating system security updates are disabled by default on your NovaSeq 6000Dx instrument. If you enable automatic system updates, it is possible that you may install untested updates that could impact system integrity.
• Installing the OS patches from the latest published PDF is sufficient to keep your instrument secure. Most patches in the PDF are cumulative, meaning the latest version includes all updates from previous patches. Any non-cumulative patches will be listed in future PDF releases, but you do not need to reinstall them if they are already installed. Refer to the installation guide for instructions on how to check the current patches installed on your instrument.
