Deresa graduated from the Sungkyunkwan University in 2012 as a Ph.D in Molecular Genetics. Prior to joining Illumina, she worked in Korea National Institute of Health as a senior researcher and ThermoFisher Scientific as a Field Application Scientist for NGS. Deresa joined Illumina as a Field Application Scientist in May 2015 and transferred Technical Application Scientist in May 2018. Since then, she has developed a specialization in providing technical support for the instrumentation queue.

Illumina offers several RNA Library prep kits for various type of RNA sequencing. This webinar will deconstruct RNA sequencing introduction beginners. In this webinar, we will focus on the following topics: Classes of RNA, RNA-Seq Applications and Common RNA-Seq workflow including RNA isolation, illumina’s various kits, coverage, reads calculation and data analysis options, with a Q & A session at the end.
