Woojung graduated from Korea University in 2007 with a M.S majoring in Biochemistry and Microbial Biotechnology.
In the following years, she built up her experiences by running and supporting Array products and Genome Analyzer systems. Since joining Illumina as the first Korean Field Applications Scientist in 2012, she has covered a broad range of Illumina Array, NGS platforms and products including early access installations of Hiseq X systems and NovaSeq systems in Korea. While overcoming challenges faced along the way, Woojung transitioned to Illumina Singapore as a Technical Application Scientist this year.
