Illumina is initiating a research supply grant to improve how polygenic risk scores (PRSs) can predict disease, especially for diverse communities. Although PRSs can impact complex disease research and healthcare in various ways, unraveling the complexities of the genome using the full potential of PRS-based research remains a developing field that is rich with opportunities for scientific advancements.
Our goal is to recognize researchers who can drive these advances in genetic risk prediction. Through this research grant call for proposals, Allelica and Illumina invite innovative scientists to improve how PRS analysis tools can improve human health.
