ScriptSeq Complete libraries were generated from different mixtures of Universal Human Reference (UHR) total RNA, E. coli Gram-negative total RNA, and B. subtilis Gram-positive total RNA. The resulting ScriptSeq Complete libraries showed rRNA removal > 99%.
Stranded ScriptSeq Complete Gold (Epidemiology) libraries contain a higher percentage of informative reads that map to non-ribosomal RNA species compared to undepleted samples. All samples contained a mix of Human and E. coli RNA before depletion and/or library generation.
Cluster-ready ScriptSeq RNA-Seq libraries, virtually free of rRNA, are made in 1 day from as little as 100 ng of total RNA.

The low input versions of this kit (catalog numbers SCL6EP and SCL24EP) have been discontinued. The standard kit versions can process low input RNA with a minor protocol modification.
