Required Products

The Infinium Automated Pipetting System with ILASS and iScan System are required for the Infinium EX Methylation workflow. The Infinium EX/ XT* starter kit is required for customers who are new to Infinium and do not already have an XT starter kit. The AutoLoader 2.x is an optional instrument for automatic loading of BeadChips onto the iScan.

FAQs

The Infinium Methyl EX iSelect Custom BeadChips uses updated EX chemistry and reagents and runs on the Infinium Automated Pipetting System with ILASS rather than Illumina Automated Pipetting System with Illumina Automation Control. These updates enable higher throughput with improved sample processing efficiency.

The Infinium Methyl EX iSelect Custom BeadChips includes the standard sample dependent and independent controls available on the Infinium Methylation EPICv2.0 and Infinium HTS iSelect Custom BeadChips. We recommend that customers also consider which probes are needed for their preferred downstream normalization analysis pipelines.  

FFPE samples are not currently supported for Infinium Methyl EX iSelect Custom BeadChips.
