TruSight Oncology 500 v2
Enable CGP with a large pan-cancer panel covering all main variant classes plus key biomarkers (TMB, MSI, and HRD) from FFPE tissue.
The Illumina TruSight FFPE QC kit uses a real-time PCR assay, targeting a 204 bp amplicon, to evaluate the quality of prospective DNA samples.
DNA extracted from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples is degraded by the fixation process and can vary greatly in quality and usability for sequencing applications. The Illumina TruSight FFPE QC kit uses a real-time PCR assay targeting a 204 bp amplicon to evaluate the quality and suitability of prospective FFPE DNA samples for sequencing.
The Illumina TruSight FFPE QC Kit uses a real-time PCR assay to evaluate DNA sample quality. The assay is compatible with FFPE DNA extracted using commercially available kits from various suppliers for exceptional flexibility.
Each kit provides primers and reference DNA template for 384 reactions. The workflow will be familiar to labs with experience using common PCR methods, including standard real-time PCR instrumentation and reagents.
The workflow follows an easy real-time PCR protocol that can be performed with qPCR instruments and reagents from a range of manufacturers.
